Why We Cannot Appreciate Great Things

Let’s go back to 2015.

I was an MBBS undergraduate and as with most days, I was returning from my college library to my hostel room, after a late-night study session.

Scrolling through Spotify, I came across Animals as Leaders’ song called Ka$cade.

For those who are new to this term, Animals as Leaders, is a Progressive metal band.

When I say Progressive metal, I am trying to unsuccessfully consolidate and limit what this band plays.

I absolutely hated the song.

It sounded weird.

To emphasize the facts about me, I was a guitarist at this point and used to play in a rock band.

Fast forward to the next 2 years, my band fell apart as we were left drummer-less.

To fill this gap, I started learning drums at the Parikrama School Of Music, New Delhi.
